Cara Lewis joins Triumph NIL roster
Agency represents student-athletes in 11 of Virginia Tech’s 20 programs
[Blacksburg, VA, March 23, 2023] Triumph NIL today announced today that volleyball standout Cara Lewis has chosen Triumph to assist her in managing her Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) rights. Lewis, a middle blocker, recently completed her first season with the Hokies and retains one year of eligibility. Starting every game of the season, she totaled 171 kills and 106 blocks. The native of Bowie, Md. played three seasons at the University of Maryland before transferring to Blacksburg. There, she tallied 53 kills, 39 blocks across 33 sets as a junior and helped the Terrapins assert themselves as the best blocking team in the Big Ten for two straight seasons. As a sophomore, Lewis ranked first on the team, second in the conference, and eighth in the nation with 1.54 blocks per set, the best mark by a Maryland player since 2006.
